One positive thing I will say, the room itself was beautiful This may have been the premier poker room in the midwest five to 10 years ago,īut that smell alone and the area it's in, kept me from going there more than twice a yearĪnd each time I went, I remembered why I wouldn't go there. How many months does this room have left? Or even worse if you werent taking the skyway Lord help you if your car stalled out before getting back to the skyway Is potential investors go in to tour it and think, 'hard no from me, this place is a dump'Īnd it is located in one of the least appealing areas possible.

You go to the bathroom and just hope some loser doesnt have two smokes in his mouth while peeingįun experiment, next time you're at any other poker room, say these words, 'ugh, the Shoe. The smell of that casino alone makes the place unbearable I think it's about time to start taking bets on what month will they officially close down the room for good.
